Scrapadabadoo Card holder

Wanted to keep these gorgeous thank you cards from Barrie and Carol over at Scrapadabadoo, so decided to make a wee holder for them, each A4 sheet folds up to make 4 pockets, held them tog with ribbon, the only thing with ribbon is it slides lol.  A wee tip (lol) when putting eyelets in check which is the front side another blond moment, too busy trying to finish it, more patience required methinks.
Did cover the front, a) the paper is too gorjuss for that and b) it is going to be handled a lot so didnt want it catching and ruining the front cover.

Graphic 45 travelogue papers (of course)

used My Minds Eye Simply Delightful for the innards, wanted plain paper in case I wanted to journal something about each card.

Beads and Glue

Saw this done on utube with Jennings 644, she has some fab ideas go and see her vids.

Hot glue is what it says HOT, tried to glue my mouse, me, and anything in the way lol I should put up a notice when I use the glue gun to say dangerous implement in hands of blond lol.

Now will have to make the lace to go around these.

These are very addictive, love rummaging in my bead box. Now need some crystal beads hee hee.

Demo Day

Hi folks
Once a month I demo at my local craft/art shop, this working lark thought I had given it up, right enough I am playing with paper, glue and scissors so it cannot be that bad. Some pics of simple wedding cards I demo'd.  Tried to keep it simple to keep costs down and time for making invites down as well !!

as it was St Patricks Day that I demo'd thought it would be nice to do a green easel style invite card.

the pocket is on the base with the paper acting as a wedge to keep the easel part up.

Everyone loved this pocket, it is a simple folded A4 sheet of paper and there is a pocket in the front, in the back and between the two pockets as well.  The folded ribbon went down a treat.

another version with paper flowers
simple folded card opening up to show the invite

Table name holder, of course the name plate is upside down lol.  25 hearts glued together with a rolled paper stem.  Didnt have the time to colour or stamp it.

Pocket with cards showing what needs to be done and when it was done.

Another name plate

someone wanted an idea for a white card, but typical me wanted a touch of colour
so glitter on flowers and a gold organza bow.

Downton Abbey and more glitter of course

Love that programme and there were some frocks from the series at the SECC exhibition, not great photos but still gives the look of them

of course had to get me more sparkle medium lol

this stencil came from Sweet Poppy Designs

mixed sparkle medium colours and stencil from Imagination Crafts.

this is meant to be a lovely ice blue the camera didnt do it justice, again from Imagination Crafts.

dont you just love playing with gunge and stuff lol.

Lord of the Rings rock

Found me some stamps from, great guys at the stall at SECC and of course had to play.  Just did simple ones firstly to see what they looked like, now I can really play after seeing them.

The Hobbit Home is stamped in black versamark, the best I have found to get the fine detail, with green leaves from the fairy tree stamp set.

The Fairy Door is a two set stamp, tree and leaves, and used another stamp for the path all from Lavinia Stamps.
