Punched Medallions

I have gone ;punch crazy.  I am now a punch aholic lol.  These are fun to make can be used for a multitude of things.   Hmmm need more paper.

Martha Stewart Punches on pearlised paper.

of course the little bits of paper left behind had to be punched as well lol.

Punches

I have become punch happy, although I still have not got the hang of Martha's around the page punches, more practice and waste paper!!!  Anyway played with some of the punches I have and came up with the undernoted, simple but effective, will start to play with my UTEE melting pot and friendly plastic and see what I come up with.  Used crystal effects for the centres.

Covers for Meander Mini

I like this retirement, played most of tonight.  Decided to make holders for the first meander mini to keep it closed/safe.  So I made two, now all I have to do is pick the right one hmmmmmmm, maybe another meander is required lol.
this one is a recycled box that held a Martha Stewart Punch.

This is the inside of a toilet tissue roll.

new goodies

Scrapadabadoo as always comes up trumps.  The USA gals are awesome.  I got me a Quickstik [the quicker-poker-picker-upper try saying that a few times!!] and it is fab.  I always got annoyed when I had difficult with the teensie tiny pieces needing glue but this is fabuloso.  Laura you did it again lol.

Another Meander Mini

Just love Laura's meander album, wanted to do one for important dates, hormones are getting the better of me and my memory tends to go for lunch and stay for a holiday before coming back!!

Anyway did my sums wrong duh and only got 11 pockets instead of 12 never mind I can fill it with photos or journalling or even both!!!!

Enjoy.

I also wanted more real estate inside so created a fold over insert tag with ability to also put something on the front and back without adhering it.

Hostess gift

Had a lovely afternoon chatting and having afternoon tea with some ladies.  I think I am going to enjoy this retirement stuff - so much to do.  I have learned there are no mistakes just creative opportunities waiting to happen!!!!!

Sunburst Mini
the pattern came from Laura at http://followingthepapertrail.blogspot.com/ her stuff is fab, she is soooo creative.

Made it plain as I was not sure of the hostess' colour scheme and also so she could add as she wished.

Festive Playing

simple cards made from gift tags at end of festive period sales.

I just looooove easel cards

What do you do with the inside of the bathroom paper roll - well you can make them into cards, albums
and make a tag or two to insert inside them or put several together.

Step cards are so easy to make

Love playing with ribbon, shred ribbon and make flowers (Italian tearning ribbon is the best)

Shutter card - have finally got the hang of this one lol!

Take a feather and make a tree

This tree did try my patience, it is made from maple leaf punchouts.

Any material in the house you dont know what to do with - well wrap it round a piece of card (I used artist's chipboard) and emboss your background with a versamarked stamp on gold card and use clear embossing powder.  Oh and of course glitter.

2011

Well the Hogmanay hootenany has well and truely come and gone.
Did you make any New Year resolutions, I have decided not to this year, I always seem to end up breaking them lol.  I have now taken early retirement and hopefully wil be able to create some lovely goodies.  First I need to raid the back room and clear it to make a craft space!!  Not to mention redoing the whole flat up.
TTFN for now

Hmmm housework my motto is if you see the dust admire it dont write on it!!!!!
Playing with paper glue and glitter is much more fun.
